Pax Christi USA has joined more than 100 national and regional U.S. organizations in releasing a joint statement this past Tuesday urging President Biden “to end the U.S. role in escalating the extremely dangerous tensions with Russia over Ukraine.” The groups said “it is gravely irresponsible for the president to participate in brinkmanship between two nations that possess 90 percent of the world’s nuclear weapons.”

The statement warned that the current crisis “could easily spiral out of control to the point of pushing the world to the precipice of nuclear war.”

  1. Just two words we should remember in order not to be hypocrites: MONROE DOCTRINE. Would we permit Russia to post troops on the Mexican border? Then why should we be surprised that Russia feels uncomfortable with U.S. backed NATO forces on their border?

  2. Why did the United States fight Hitler in Europe?
Why did the United States oppose the USSR?
Was it necessary to gave Europe to Hitler’s Germany? Americans can be saved on D-Day.
Why need USA to help Taiwan? China is nearby. China has nuclear weapons and is much stronger than Russia.
