Ecumenical Advocacy Days (EAD) 2024 is an opportunity to gather in person to connect with peers, especially in this election year.

The 2024 EAD Spring Summit, held in person from May 17-19, will include advocacy training for new and growing participant categories (seminary students, young adults) and will offer a chance for those who work with domestic and international priorities to connect and share. Ultimately, we want the universal voice of God, one of compassion, justice and peace, to be lifted during these challenging times.

Pax Christi USA is one of many organizational supporters of EAD.

After a few years of gathering online, this year’s event will be held in person, at the Crowne Plaza Crystal City, near Washington, DC.

Workshops will be held on voting access; the rise of Christian nationalism; the Black church in the United States; the role of the United Nations, and more. Use this link to read more about the weekend’s workshops.

>>Use this link to register to attend. Please note: Participants must make their own housing arrangements. Hotel reservations should be made by April 15.

If you do plan to attend, let Pax Christi USA know! We would love to connect with you while you are in the DC area.

EAD began in 2003 as a coalition of sponsor organizations holding an annual national education and advocacy conference around different social justice issues for Christian advocacy. Since then it has become the premier Christian advocacy event in the United States, bringing together 1,000 faith advocates each year to mobilize for action and to make a public witness on Capitol Hill. EAD has addressed such issues as food justice, economy and livelihood, poverty and hunger, immigration and refugees, climate change, national and international security, and issues especially affecting women and children around the world.
