In mid-October, several Pax Christi members and friends participated in season’s Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA) delegation to the West Bank. During their two week visit, the delegates and other supporters helped farmers with their olive harvest, a time which is often fraught with conflict with settlers and with the IDF. The farmers include Palestinian Christians whose presence is being threatened even though their families have lived in the area for centuries.
On Wednesday, November 18, 7:30 PM Eastern/4:30 PM Pacific, all are invited to a virtual panel presentation to hear delegates share about their experience and to hear about the current reality for Palestinians on the West Bank.
Speakers will include Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace Scott Wright, Pax Christi International Fund for Peace Executive Director Bob Shine, and Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns’ Senior Program Officer for Peace and Nonviolence Dan Moriarty, plus Maeve Gilheney-Gallagher, Global Solidarity Coordinator, Office of Missions of the Archdiocese of Washington DC.
