All are welcome to join two upcoming online events focused on gun violence:

Stop in the name of God: Multi-generational perspectives on gun violence

Saturday, May 4, 9 AM-1 PM Eastern

Pax Christi Metro DC-Baltimore’s 2024 Spring assembly will include youth and adult community members and gun violence prevention advocates sharing their perspectives on the causes and effects of gun violence and needed solutions.

Keynote speaker will be Rev. Graylan Hagler, a dynamic preacher and passionate advocate for justice and peace. He will speak on the culture of violence in this country and how to change it.

Rev. Hagler’s presentation will be followed by two pairs of breakout sessions providing perspectives from young people on the front lines, mothers bringing spiritual resources to bear, legislative advocates working for gun safety, and past Peacemaker of the Year award recipients recognized for their efforts to end gun violence. See this updated flyer for more information.
