On Saturday, July 15, the Beatitudes Center will welcome Jesuit theologian and writer Joseph Brown, SJ, who will speak on the Gospel vision of justice and equality, particularly as it relates to the current movement for racial justice in the United States.

The Zoom event will start at 11 AM Pacific/2 PM Eastern. Cost is $30; scholarships are available.

  1. The “Beatitudes Center”, like the Catholic schools in this country, run the risk of scandal because they claim to reflect Gospel values yet they charge a fee which does not reflect “a preferential option for the poor”.
