Pax Christi USA is saddened to announce the passing of Bill Lowell, long-time member of Pax Christi USA and husband to Pax Christi USA staff member Ronnie Fellerath-Lowell. Ronnie shared with us that Bill passed on Sunday. Even as recently as the national conference this past August, Bill was doing what he has done so often in support of the work of Pax Christi USA: working behind the scenes alongside Ronnie, stuffing folders for conference participants, offering moral support with a kind word and generous smile to our staff members, and offering wisdom and advice from a long life well-lived.
Many of you know that Ronnie and Bill met at the Pax Christi USA National Conference in Pittsburgh in 2006, and their partnership has been a blessing to all of us in this movement. All of us at Pax Christi USA send our love to Ronnie and to Bill’s family and friends in this moment of grief. And we give thanks for Bill’s life, his support of Pax Christi USA and his witness to peace with justice. Bill Lowell – PRESENTE!
