All friends, partners and members of the Pax Christi USA family are invited to join us tonight, Monday, March 22nd, for our fifth Pax Christi USA Community Weekly Lenten Prayer Service, from 8:30-9pm ET. Join with members of the Pax Christi USA family from around the nation for a short prayer service with readings from our Lenten reflection booklet, Scripture readings, prayers of the faithful, and more. This week, we’ll be specially remembering Fr. John Rausch, former member of the Pax Christi USA National Council and a Teacher of Peace Award recipient and giving thanks for his life and witness almost one year after his passing.

Our prayer service will be less than 30 minutes and serve as another way to help us all feel more connected during this time of pandemic isolation and social distancing, as well as to help us focus on our own participation in being the peace of Christ in a world shattered by violence, suffering and greed. We’re incredibly excited to have author, theologian and storyteller Megan McKenna join us to share a short reflection from this year’s Lenten reflection booklet. Megan is a Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace and has traveled the world preaching the Scriptures, telling stories and listening to the words of the Spirit loose in all the lands and peoples of the world.

Gather on the call with your families, loved ones, and local groups; all are welcome!

The schedule for each evening will include:

  • Welcome
  • Music/song
