from Mary’s House Catholic Worker, Birmingham, AL

Pax Christi USA Teachers of Peace (1994) Jim and Shelley Douglass of Mary’s House, the Catholic Worker in Birmingham, AL, are hosting a Lenten retreat led by Brayton Shanley and Suzanne Belote Shanley of the Agape Community along with panel guest speakers over Zoom on March 19-21. Pax Christi USA members are invited to participate in this interfaith retreat to explore nonviolence as an invigorating and sustainable way of life – more necessary than ever. We’ll explore the questions: How do we make peace with ourselves, with “the other” and with the earth? How then shall we live?
