The Catholic Institute for Nonviolence, a project of Pax Christi International, hosted a two-day conference in Rome earlier this month on the theme of Pope Leo’s call for “unarmed and disarming peace.” Dozens of peace practitioners and theologians from around the world attended, including several members of Pax Christi USA.
On Tuesday, September 29, 7 PM Eastern/4 PM Pacific, all are invited to a virtual conversation to discuss the conference and to talk more broadly about Gospel nonviolence today. This event will feature remarks from attendees of the Institute’s conference, who will offer a window into the insights and renewed commitments that emerged at the global convening. We will also have time to discuss how each of us is participating in the Catholic Nonviolence Days of Action and to pray together.
