Pax Christi USA learned earlier this week of the passing of Karen Brandow. Karen and her partner Charlie King were musicians at several of Pax Christi USA’s events over the years, most notably at the School of the Americas Action and Vigil where they offered their talent for our Friday evening gathering for the first few years we hosted it. I didn’t know Karen well, but I recall her kindness and gentleness from the few times I worked with her, in addition to the beautiful and stirring music she and Charlie shared. We are so grateful for her life and her witness and how generously she shared of herself and her talents with our Pax Christi USA family. Her obituary is below.
