Through our work in the Abolition 2000 movement, Pax Christi USA is encouraging people to attend and participate in the Newark Peace Education Summit, being billed as possibly the largest peace event since the Hague Peace Summit in 1999. Abolition 2000 is a sponsor of this event. The summit is May 13-15 in Newark, N.J., and includes Nobel Laureates like the Dalai Lama and Jody Williams.
