Over the next few days, the Caravan of Mothers of Disappeared Migrants will be making stops in the Northeast U.S. (click here for their itinerary), but for the larger Pax Christi USA community not able to attend one of the in-person events, we’re co-hosting “Until We Find Them: The Caravan of Mothers of Missing Migrants and Root Causes of Migration”, a virtual event happening TONIGHT, Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, from 8:00-9:30pm ET/5:00-6:30pm PT.
Click here to register for tonight’s virtual event and hear the mothers’ stories.
And if you haven’t already seen the coverage, yesterday at the U.S. Capitol, the Caravan of Mothers of Disappeared Migrants, after searching for their relatives at the U.S.-Mexico border last week, shared their message with policy makers in Washington, D.C., giving their first-hand accounts of the tragic consequences which accompany forced migration and how U.S. foreign policy in Central America is a root cause driving such migration. The Caravan was joined by Reps. Raúl Grijalva (AZ) and Hank Johnson (GA), Sr. Anne Marie Miller of the Sisters of Mercy Institute Leadership Team, and others, and the press event was covered by numerous media organizations.

And if you’re a constituent of Rep. Grijalva or Rep. Johnson, please send them a note of thanks for their support of the caravan!
