On June 30, 2021, Pax Christi USA join with 112 organizations from the United States and around the world in sending a letter to President Biden calling for an end to the U.S. program of lethal strikes outside recognized battlefields, including through the use of drones.

The letter begins, “We write to demand an end to the unlawful program of lethal strikes outside any recognized battlefield, including through the use of drones. This program is a centerpiece of the United States’ forever wars and has exacted an appalling toll on Muslim, Brown, and Black communities in multiple parts of the world.”

  1. Progress toward a peaceful yet firm approach to international relations may be slow but can be meaningful. Also, this can save lives and demonstrate respect toward all human life. We must petition , through prayers and actions, all governments who use confrontation, domination, torture, coercion, and killing as their international mode of operation to responsibly use their powers to truly care for their peoples and all humanity. As I write this, all federal executions have been halted. Progress! Peace to all.

  2. Drones are not the answer
    killing indiscriminately without a trial
    makes us a rogue state

  3. Thank you for your strong and clarion response and call to stop the US policy of forever wars. No more wars, no more violence, no more deaths – period!
