Dear Friends and Supporters of Pax Christi USA,
It is in a spirit of accountability and transparency that I present to you our Annual Report for 2018 done in collaboration with our Staff and National Council. I am pleased to share that Pax Christi USA had fewer expenses in 2018. You will see in these pages that PCUSA continues to meet the challenges of a tight fiscal environment and increasing needs.
We continue to remain ever grateful to our Major Donors and Sustainers (those who give monthly). The process to become a Sustainer is quite simple and guarantees the organization monthly income. Please contact the National Office and join the Sustainers’ Circle for Peace with Justice.
PCUSA continues providing inspirational Advent and Lenten reflection booklets. Our membership newsletter, The Peace Current, continues to be a stable source of income. This past year our programs included workshops with religious communities around racial justice, and our college presentations focused on nonviolent conflict resolution.
As we look forward, PCUSA will continue to collaborate more effectively with college campuses that have PCUSA local chapters. In addition, there is a growing movement to reach out to our young adult population in finding ways to actively invite them into shaping the future and mission of PCUSA. We need to grow our membership!
Pax Christi USA needs to continue to exercise its prophetic role whenever the Gospel mandate is compromised and our social teachings are devalued. In order to move forward, we need to maintain a steady source of revenue, so your continuing and ongoing financial support is critical.
In closing, it is with a grateful heart that I thank you for your faithful financial support and ongoing prayers for Pax Christi USA. Know too that each of you remain in my prayers!

With gratitude and hope,
Sr. Patricia Chappell, SNDdeN
