This spring, the Pax Christi New England Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (PCAN) is hosting a series of four virtual “mini-summits,” each featuring five Catholic and other faith leaders, who will give brief presentations, exchange ideas, and field moderated questions from the Zoom audience on how to most effectively harness our collective efforts for nuclear disarmament.

The four sessions will be held on May 16 (10-11:30 AM Eastern)May 31 (3-4:30 PM Eastern)June 6 (2-3:30 PM Eastern), and June 14 (7-8:30 PM Eastern). Each session will be 90 minutes long; each will be recorded.

In 2025, PCAN conducted a survey of North American Catholics and others regarding nuclear weapons and best practices to abolish them. The results of that survey, which are now posted here on the website of the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development, documented the extensive work many Catholics have already done to abolish nuclear weapons, the deep concern of many more, and a significant potential to activate a great many more to work for a world without nuclear weapons.

You are invited to register for all four events at once; registrants will also receive a recording of each.
