  1. Thank you, Bishop Pohlmeier, for your very compassionate and thoughtful letter. It is one I will keep on my desk to be seen as I scan for other materials. It offers me several places from which I can launch into prayers for everyone who is entangled in the issue of immigration. The Holy Spirit inspired your words and I am so grateful you shared your thoughts on this topic.
Peace and all good, Deacon Terry Barber, ofs

  2. I was not familiar with this Bishop but I am grateful to see he is speaking out and clearly condemning the abuse that some in our government are showing to those coming to our country looking for justice and freedom from oppression in their own country. We need more Bishops to speak out and against what we are seeing with ICE and other agencies in our country that are arresting people for no reason. It is cruel and shameful and inhumane to see these actions.

  3. Sacrificial Love says it All. We should begin to practice it if we were a bit lax in the past. We have all the signs that it will be necessary if we are to recover from the political power dive now operative. We need to awaken from our slumber. We are sleeping through a major political takeover.

    Thank you Bishop Pohlmeier
