Take time at the foot of the cross during this 2.5 hour virtual retreat on death penalty abolition and restorative justice. Hear from affected families, ministers, and activists as they share their stories and invite us to consider Mary’s unique role in our work to be a voice against the death penalty and help promote restorative justice. We will have time for reflection and sharing in small groups, plus art, music, and poetry.

Featured speakers include:

  • Terri Steinberg is the mother of Justin Wolfe, the youngest person on Virginia’s death row before his sentence was reduced.
  • Elwood Jones is seeking to become Ohio’s 12th death row exoneree after 27 years on Ohio’s death row.
  • Sr. Donna Liette, C.PP.S is a minister to mothers who have lost children to violence, the streets, or to incarceration
