Reflection from Marie Dennis (Catholic Nonviolence Initiative/Pax Christi International)

This month, as we celebrate the third anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and the second anniversary of the publication of Archbishop John Wester’s pastoral letter calling for nuclear disarmament, Living in the Light of Christ’s Peace, Pax Christi Massachusetts, along with Pax Christi USA, Pax Christi International, and dozens of other co-sponsors, offers an online forum focused on the grave concern regarding the increasing threat of nuclear war and what ordinary citizens can do to prevent it.

Saturday, January 27, 2-4 PM Eastern, on Zoom

Speakers are:

The goal in this forum is to be as participatory and interactive as the large number of participants and the technology will allow. The presenters would like to engage in some live conversation with selected members of the audience: If you would like to be considered for that, please use this link to register and write to paxchristima@gmail.com by January 25 with your comments and/or questions, plus a brief introduction of yourself, your location, your affiliated organization (if applicable), and your contact information. One of the organizers may contact you to discuss the possibility of your joining the forum to talk with the panelists directly.
