Join us on Thursday, December 21, 8 PM Eastern, for our quarterly PAX Mass. We are celebrating this Mass in solidarity with those in the Holy Land who are suffering because of the war in Gaza, heeding Cardinal Pizzaballa’s request that during this time of war, we “focus more on the spiritual meaning of Christmas” and forego any “unnecessarily festive activities.” We encourage one another to “advocate, pray, and contribute generously … for the relief of the victims of this war and for those in dire need,” as the Cardinal has asked.
Our celebrant will be Fr. Peter Dougherty, Pax Christi USA Teacher of Peace, who has been to Gaza and the West Bank over a dozen times, accompanied IDF-targeted communities there, and blocked home demolitions in Palestine. Fr. Peter is a member of Meta Peace Team and Pax Christi Michigan.
You can find the program for the Mass at this link. Download or open the link to follow along during the Mass.
We hope you’ll join us as we lift up the call for a #CeasefireNOW.
You can use this link to register for the Mass. If you have registered in the past, there is no need to register again. A link will be sent out to everyone who is registered by Thursday noon.

We’re all experiencing a DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL ~ a very dark night of the soul. We need each other to pray together and try to be a sign of hope. PAX CHRISTI is a beacon of light in these very dark times. THANK YOU. Sister Eileen O’Connor, RSM
