Amid climate change, war, racism, and violence in all its many forms, sustaining hope can be difficult. As Christians, we believe in the Resurrection, yet each day we exist in a world that contradicts the empty tomb. How in such a reality do we live a Christian faith that is rooted in hope? What sustains us in our work for justice until the dawn of a new creation breaks?

PCYAC members at the August 2022 Pax Christi USA national conference

Join Pax Christi USA’s Young Adult Caucus for a weekend retreat to explore these questions with other peacemakers in their 20s and 30s. Through contemplation, learning, and thoughtful encounters, we will renew our commitment to nonviolence and deepen our roots in the hope Christ brings. There will be time for celebrating liturgies, individual reflection, intergenerational dialogue, and building community. All people in their 20s and 30s committed to nonviolence as a way of life are welcome to attend.

  • Date: June 23-25, 2023
  • Location: The Well Spirituality Center, just outside Chicago.
