As part of the inter-generational focus for the 50th anniversary of Pax Christi USA, Ryan Di Corpo and Isaac Chandler have organized a series of video interviews with past recipients of the annual Pax Christi USA Teacher of Peace award.
The first video is with Kathy Kelly, Pax Christi USA’s 1998 Teacher of Peace. Kathy is a longtime activist for peace, a committed and faith-filled advocate for justice who co-founded Voices in the Wilderness, a campaign to raise awareness of and end the use of sanctions against the people of Iraq. She has traveled extensively, particularly to war zones and areas of conflict, has fasted and risked arrest repeatedly, and has written and spoken widely, with great love, clarity and depth, about the critical need to choose nonviolence and to live in peace.
