> Watch the Jan. 27th PAX Mass here.

This Thursday, January 27th, at 8pm, we are excited to have with us Fr. John Dear, Pax Christi USA Ambassador of Peace, reflecting and discussing the recent pastoral letter on nuclear disarmament. Many in our community were thrilled at Archbishop Wester’s letter calling for movement toward nuclear abolition and promoting the promise of nonviolence. This month’s PAX Mass will open space for us to consider further prayer, study and action in support of the pastoral letter.

All are welcome!

  1. We members of Pax Christi USA should be thanking Archbishop Wester for his courage to call us to facing the fact that we must be totally against War and use of Nuclear Weapons. The US is totally a leader in the manufacture and use and sale of these weapons, with little regard for Human Life, the survival of our planet and all God’s Creation. The U S Bishops need to read the new testament and take the words to heart. They need the courage to speak out for the disarmament of Nuclear Weapons and encourage Peace all around the world. Pax Christi should be speaking out against War, now that we have the support of Archbishop Wester.
