Pax Christi USA urges the House of Representatives to oppose proposed cuts to the Refugee and Entrant Assistance (REA) account in fiscal year 2013.

We urge members of the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee to support the Senate mark and the President’s request of $805 million for The Refugee and Entrant Assistance.  These funds are critical to work with local community organizations and faith civic groups which provide basic human needs and tools to the children and the more than 100,000 vulnerable migrants.
