SUMMARY:Joint Christian Advocacy Summit -- Churches for Middle East Peace
DESCRIPTION:Pax Christi USA is one of the cosponsors\, along with Churches for Middle East Peace\, CMEP\, of a convening of advocates from across the country on the theme: “Do right\, seek justice: Christians uniting against oppression in Palestine/Israel.” \n\n\n\nThis summit will equip and mobilize Christians committed to justice\, dignity\, human rights\, and lasting security for all who call the Middle East home. Attendees will: \n\n\n\n\nLearn from leading experts and practitioners\n\n\n\n\n\nStrengthen their faith-rooted advocacy skills\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet directly with Members of Congress and their staff\n\n\n\n\n\nRaise a united Christian voice for a just peace in the Holy Land\n\n\n\n\nOur goal is bold and urgent: to bring 500 Christian advocates to Congress to press for U.S. policies grounded in justice\, accountability\, and peace. \n\n\n\nEarly bird special: A discounted early bird registration rate is available through the end of January.
