Pax Christi Michigan‘s state conference will feature Alex Mikulich, a Catholic theologian, social ethicist, and activist. He has devoted his scholarship and activism over 20 years to addressing anti-Black supremacy in the Church and society. His latest book, Unlearning White Supremacy: A Spirituality for Racial Liberation, was published by Orbis Books in 2022. His previous co-authored books include The Scandal of White Complicity in US Hyper-Incarceration: A Nonviolent Spirituality of White Resistance (Palgrave, 2013) and Interrupting White Privilege: Catholic Theologians Break the Silence (Orbis Books, 2007), which won the 2008 Theological Book of the Year from the College Theology Society.
