Listening session on Ukraine

On the International Day of Peace, Franciscan Action Network invites you to a deep listening session regarding the war in Ukraine.
The session will use a synodal circle process offering space for people to connect deeply with one another, to share stories, and hear about the thoughts and feelings participants have regarding the war. Through this practice, FAN hopes to deepen empathy and connection so we may move forward together in the ways of a just peace.
As Pope Francis said, “War is just ‘senseless slaughter’…War drags people into a spiral of violence…it tears down what generations have labored to build up, and it sets the scene for even greater injustices…Let there be a decision for peace. May there be an end to the flexing of muscles while people are suffering.” FAN hopes you will join them to deepen your understanding and empathy towards our brothers and sisters impacted by the war in Ukraine.
