We are particularly pleased to welcome contributions from the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), whose leadership and advocacy have been instrumental in advancing the cause of nuclear abolition and energising civil society around the world.

The webinar takes place in the wake of several important global events, including the Fourth Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), the 2025 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)Disarmament Week, and the Eighth Session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, offering a timely opportunity to engage with the global momentum for peace and nuclear disarmament.
