Earlier this year, Pax Christi USA was extraordinarily fortunate to welcome Iyana Turner as our new office manager — she coordinates day-to-day operations in the national office in Washington, DC, and takes care of many of our logistical and financial issues.
Iyana is a Detroit native whose family proudly traces its roots back to Holy Family Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama. After moving to the Washington, DC region almost 10 years ago, Iyana gave her heart and soul to serving elementary, middle school, and adult scholars in the area. Her passion for nuclear disarmament and commitment to service brought her to Pax Christi USA. Outside of the national office, Iyana enjoys family time with her husband, daughters, and son. As well, she’s particularly fond of podcasts, knitting, and board games. (Ask her about K-pop.)
