This weekend will mark one year since our friend and colleague, Sr. Dianna Ortiz, OSU, joined that great cloud of witnesses following a short illness. On Sunday, February 20th at 5pm ET, we invite those who wish to remember her and celebrate with us her life and witness to join us for a remembrance gathering hosted with members of the Assisi Community, Dianna’s home for 25 years.

Click here to register to join us over Zoom.

We’ll hear from the members of the Assisi Community as they share their stories of her life with them, and we’ll remember Dianna in prayer and music. All are welcome to register at the link above and join with us over Zoom. We’ll open up space during the call for those who would like to share a short remembrance of their own as to Dianna’s influence on them and how she touched their life.

  1. Thank you. Sr Dianna is a pure light. When a pure light goes out in our realm, the whole of creation flickers in unison, then in-breaths again the First Breath, as we awaken from our illusion of separateness (as Thay taught) and all rejoin and rejoice in the Communion of Saints. I hope to be able to join you in this celebration of a pure light of peace and devotion.
