Please consider being part of an important webinar on Tuesday, May 17th at 4pm (EDT) on nuclear weapon abolition and why we as U.S. Catholics should work for it at this time. Also, please pass this invitation to join the webinar to anyone you know who you think should hear what is being said.
The presenters in this first of a series of such webinars will be:
- Joan Chittister, osb, Pax Christi USA Teacher of Peace, who will lay the spiritual groundwork for this undertaking
- Fr. Drew Christiansen, S.J. who will address the very important papal document, “Nuclear Disarmament: A Time for Abolition”, issued in December, 2014
- Daryl Kimball, Executive Director of the Arms Control Association, who will tell us why, from a secular viewpoint, this is the time to work for abolition of nuclear weapons
- Marie Dennis, Co-President of Pax Christi International, will be moderating this session

I hope you find this new documentary supportive, encourgaging and deeply informative for all those concerned with nuclear weapons, and our planet. Thank you for your focus and efforts…. for decades of being there, here on this. Fr. Dan Berrigan’s wake and funeral was such a profound gathering of souls, and I know a number of you were there with.
“Good Thinking” is a documentary on those who tried to push back on nuclear weapons, four plus years in the making. Perhaps little new to you here, but for the general public I hope it helps to widen the perspective, deepen the knowledge base and history, and encourage us all forward.
Because of the recent dangerous, irresponsible remarks of U.S. Presidential candidates about nuclear weapons, I’ve chosen not to wait until after our elections for the November film festivals and release it now to the public.
DVD’s also are now being made for groups. (some are watching it in two sittings). I welcome critical feedback, and welcome talk backs to groups.
