At the 40th Anniversary Pax Christi Conference to be held in Atlanta, GA on June 14-16, 2013, we would like to offer a Peace Program for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
The Peace Program for children would be on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., and also on Sunday, June 16, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. All other times the children will be with their parents. This program will be facilitated by professional women who are educators and experienced in working with children at this age level. Activities will focus on children being peace-makers in their own families, schools, neighborhoods and among their friends.
In order to offer a worthwhile experience, we need a minimum of 8 children to participate. If you would like more information about the Children’s Peace Program, or if you would like to register your child, please contact Sr. Anne-Louise at anadeau@paxchristiusa.org by May 17, 2013 with the name and age of your child.
