Pax Christi Massachusetts member Kathleen Schatzberg has mounted a petition on the White House “We the People” website, asking the Obama administration to close Guantanamo (as the President promised) and give all the remaining prisoners either a speedy trial or release.
The petition needs 150 signatures to go public, and 25,000 for the White House to respond. Pax Christi USA is encouraging members and others of good will to sign the petition.
