Dear PCUSA members, friends, allies, partners and supporters:

“We thank our God every time we think of you. In every prayer we utter, we rejoice at the way you have all continually helped promote the Good News of Peace with Justice from the very first day. We are sure of this much, that the God, who has begun this good work in you, will carry it through to completion. Our prayer is that your love may abound more and more, both in understanding and in wealth of experience, so that with a clear conscience and blameless conduct you may learn to value the things that really matter, up to the day of Christ Jesus. It is our wish that you be found rich in the harvest of justice which Jesus Christ has ripened in you, to the glory and praise of God.” (Adapted from Philippians 1:1-11)

We have all grown up with the adage ‘Count your blessings’ and the above passage from Paul’s letter to the people of Philippi concretizes the blessings for which we, like Paul, are extremely grateful.

We say a profound thank you for your prayers, support, notes and e-mails of encouragement. We say thank you for your witness to the ‘peace of Christ’ in the quality of your relationships within your families, your churches and your local areas. We say thank you for the way you challenge our world, each other and us to live more deeply, more authentically, more responsibly. We say thank you for your financial support of Pax Christi USA, for the donations and contributions you make, not only from your surplus but often at personal sacrifice…thus sustaining our work for peace with justice.

We thank you and bless you for being part of this Pax Christi USA family.

During this Thanksgiving time, may you and all those you love find many blessings for which you are grateful…you remain one of ours.

Thank you.

  1. Thank you, Sister and your fellow sisters, for all you have done. You are true patriots. You may save the Catholic Church from itself.

God bless you all. Keep up the good work.
