ASSOCIATED PRESS: Kathy O’Leary, state coordinator for Pax Christi New Jersey, sent in the following article about Rev. Michael Doyle, who was named one of Pax Christi NJ’s recent Dorothy Day Peacemakers.  Rev. Doyle’s parish, Sacred Heart, is the home to a local Pax Christi chapters. THE DAILY NEWS (Western New York): William Privett, coordinator for Pax Christi Western New York, wrote the following article about his area’s first “Interfaith Witness for Peace.” The article begins, “On March 3, more than 60 people gathered at Genesee Community College for the first Interfaith Witness for Peace, sponsored by Pax Christi Genesee County. CATHOLIC PEACE FELLOWSHIP-PAX CHRISTI PHILADELPHIA: On April 16, the Catholic Peace Fellowship-Pax Christi Philadelphia chapter will hold its annual retreat. This year’s retreat is “Seeking Justice and Peace Through Action and Contemplation,” and will take place at St. Malachy School. ABC15 and KTAR NEWS TALK: Pax Christi Phoenix was featured in pieces for their local ABC affiliate and KTAR, local news talk radio. PC Phoenix and group coordinator Dan Wolford were featured because of their planned protest of a speech former President George W. Bush was giving in Phoenix.
