Messages from Pax Christi Haiti
We have heard from Wilda Mondestin, Executive Director of Pax Christi Haiti; Daniel Tillias, Program Director; and Vladimir LaGuerre. All of them are fine. Daniel sent us the following short message on January 18: "Everyone is fine. I want you to share our best gratitude to all the world for coming in solidarity to us. We really appreciate this sign of love. This experience help me to understand the sadness of war. And this rise my commitment to be antiwar because now I know what it is to lose friends, relatives and people I have known just in a glance. This is what this tragedy should inspire the world. A need to end suffering from anyway it can come. Also this commitment that it is just one world, one earth and we are all brothers and sisters. Peace always. Lape toutan."
